We Can't Get No Satisfaction

The MTA is pissed at you.

Just look at all they've done for you! They've worked their fingers to the bone making things nicer, keeping the trains running, improving the public address system. They're even talking about putting tv's on the trains and everything, and still you mushheads say, "I'm not satisfied"? What do they have to do?!

The MTA took its annual rider survey recently, and found that people still aren't completely happy with the service they receive—and the MTA can't figure out why this is.

Perhaps the problem was timing. They took the survey about a week after it was revealed that the agency had (surprise!) found an $833 million surplus after screeching poverty for so long—poverty they had used to justify fare hikes and layoffs and threatened maintenance and service cuts. Plus it was also revealed that they had no intention of using that newfound money to pay those workers or roll back the fare hikes—in fact, they're gonna lay off more workers, and institute new fare hikes in a year or so! They're gonna use that money to do something nice for themselves for once, dammit! So, FUCK…YOU!

And they wonder why people don't like them?
