ARTURO SANDOVAL

The Cuban legend was a protegé of Dizzy Gillespie, who assisted Sandoval when he defected to the U.S., as seen on the HBO film For Love and Country. His latest album was captured live at this very club.

PAQUITO D’RIVERA SEXTET

Born in Havana, the reed player was a founding member of Irakere alongside Arturo Sandoval and is one of the best-known players in the Latin jazz and classical scene, having appeared alongside the likes of Rosa Passos, Yo Yo Ma and many others throughout his long career.
