The Bronx gets stabby

Nobody seemed real clear on the relationship between 35-year-old Lynwood Jones and 18-year-old Jolart Wilson. Some say Wilson was a poor homeless waif lost in the blizzard until Jones brought him home and took care of him. Others say Wilson was a street hustler and that it was all just a business agreement. Still others say that the two were known lovers.

In any case, the mostly homeless Wilson found himself at Jones’ Bronx home last weekend. The two had sex several times. Then Wilson, for Lord knows what reason, grabbed a knife and allegedly started stabbing his host. And stabbing and stabbing him.

Wilson tried to run away after Jones stopped moving, but then he got disoriented and ended up in the basement of a neighboring building. Neigh-bors, understandably concerned about having a blood-soaked street hustler lurking around in the basement, called the cops, who arrested him.

Wilson ultimately confessed to the murder, explaining that he stabbed his host because Jones’ pit bull was freaking him out.

Meanwhile, at 3:45 Monday afternoon, for example, police were called by someone reporting that a woman in her late 40s had been assaulted. By the time cops arrived on the scene, a whole bunch of other people had reportedly been assaulted, too. The woman’s 18-month old grandson and that child’s parents had all been stabbed,. but only the toddler got it bad.

The alleged stabber was killed by police.
