Man Man, Plastic Little
Try describing Man Man without using the terms “Tom Waits,” “Captain Beefheart,” “circus” or “falling down a flight of stairs.” Yeah, that’s what I thought. And if that doesn’t do it for you, there’s rap-pop by Plastic Little—who lays his rhymes over samples of The Cure and other unlikely hits. Who says they don’t have a sense of humor?
