Pressed for Time: Undergroundzero festival

By Joshua David Stein
. . . . . . .
Through July 26, PS 122, 150 1st Ave. (at E. 9th St.), for a full schedule visit www.ps122.org.

What’s less than zero, other than a really good Elvis Costello song? This experimental theater fest at PS 122. In a town that has more theater underground than it does above, one might question the need for yet another avenue for artists to struggle publicly. But consider the question the curators asked the participating companies:What secret dream would you bring to the stage? And you’ll realize it isn’t just your standard artsy East Village theater fest. It might be kind of good.

Tales from Bordertown

Bottom Line: There’s a ton of weird theater going on this summer, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
