Lots of the musicals we see are kind of hard to relate to: Our nannies never flew, we’ve been mugged In The Heights and naked hippies are often disappointing in real life . But tonight Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham’s new show, Next Thing You Know, opens, and it focuses on characters that wake up one day and realize: Shit!, this is real life.
The Bottom Line: If drowning your problems doesn’t seem to work, try laughing at them.
