Spring & Rivington Sts.); 7, $15Long before Bebe Zahara Benet, the drag persona of Cameroonian Nea Kudi Marshall, won RuPaul’s reality television contest to be “The Next Drag Superstar of the World,” documentarian Emily Branham was tailing the beauty around Minneapolis. Endangered Species: Bebe Zahara Benet, the resulting documentary, is just about done, but this performance and fundraiser with a rare NYC appearance by the subject, is meant to ensure its completion.
Bottom Line: Normally we wouldn’t recommend anything at BLVD but this is for a good cause and also features the world’s most beautiful drag queen, not an honorific I bestow lightly.
