Who says summer movies can’t be serious? Fuck Tron! Give me Nazis! The Brooklyn Lyceum is only too happy to oblige, screening Stanley Kramer’s 1961 war crimes drama Judgment at Nuremberg. Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster and the not-very-nice Max Schell star. It’s rare that summer fun and my interest in genocide coincide, but when they do, watch out.
Bottom Line: Bring a blanket, your UN Charter and a bowl of popcorn.
