Crude Oil (Yuan You)

Wang Bing’s epic 14-hour
film is the Alexanderplatz of globalization, a real-time documentation
of one workday of crude-oil extraction in northwest China. At this
(understandably) rare set of screenings, the film will repeat five
times.
Bottom Line: What better way to wile away your
unemployed hours than tucked away in a warm room seeing how bad it
could be to be employed in China?
