Did you get your freak out at Click Drag 3.1: The Second Coming, the gender-bending fetish party on Oct. 17 at Santos Party House? If not, maybe next year, dahlings. Start planning now. They won’t let you in the door if you don’t get into the spirit of things with a costume—anything from glam nerd, trans-goddess, rubber nun, faerie, Gothic, glamour martyr, pagan chick, sphinx-wear, sequined saint or maybe wearing a tasteful crown of thorns.
It was the second year in a row for Click Drag. The founding producers are director and visual artist Rob Roth and nightlife impresario Chi Chi Valenti of The Jackie Factory. CLICK DRAG began as the Saturday-night weekly at Valenti's experimental MOTHER nightclub in 1996 and ran for four years in over 200 themed editions. The lavish night included performances by trans icon/vocalist Our Lady J., The Pixie Harlots, Falon, Amber Ray, Sequinette and dozens of other performances and installations, one more fab than the next.
Here's our photo gallery from the last event.
