Bree Benton isn’t just Richard Belzer’s stepdaughter. She’s also Poor Baby Bree, a saturnine Coraline-esque cabaret figure. The reprise of this evening length work combines her plaintive acoustic songs and the lamentable story of said poor baby, a Bowery urchin, and her little rag doll totem.
Bottom Line: The anatomy of melancholy has never looked so good.
