Miss Love talked with us about the porn industry, the upcoming holiday and the subtle difference between being endearing and creepy.

NYPress: We hear that you’re nothing like your on-screen persona. How do people react when they meet you for the first time?

Lexi Love: A lot of people when they meet me are very shocked.They all say that I’m so down to earth and plain. As soon as the cameras are on, I turn it on. But people appreciate the fact that I’m relaxed behind the scenes. I think it makes me less intimidating.

Valentine’s Day is coming up: Any advice for fumbling boyfriends out there?

I don’t really care either way about Valentine’s Day. It’s just a card and candy holiday. In L.A., I try to stay in to avoid traffic. My advice if you have a girlfriend would be to really “wow” her. Do something different than flowers, dinner and a movie. Use New York; go to the Empire State building or something.

What’s the creepiest pick-up line you’ve ever gotten?

“Baby can I get with you?”Those guys aren’t even trying. At least the creative ones can be fun. Some guys have said they want to bring me home to meet their mom. It’s endearing and creepy at the same time.
