Feb. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27, Bushwick Starr, 207 Starr St. (betw. Irving & Wyckoff Aves.), thebushwickstarr.org; 8, $10.
You know what we need more of? Post-apocalyptic rock musicals! Pass Kontrol, a Bushwick-based arts collective/rock band, is happy to oblige. It’s a wildly creative group, and not above threading comment on capitalism with catchy tunes, making the enterprise less didactic than foot tapping. It’s about three men and a man, baby. Sadly Charlie Sheen doesn’t make an appearance.
Bottom Line: The one thing better than a concept rock album is a concept album performed live!
