The Bruce High Quality Foundation’s annual Brucennial is a perennial antidote to the Whitney Biennial.Though lacking in the Whitney’s self-seriousness, Brucennial lacks none of its high quality. Duh, see the name. There’s plenty to see here, from oddly touching photographs of houseplants to free copies of handmade sheet music. Bottom Line: Art for those who don’t like assholes, or going above 14th Street.
