May 26, Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway (at W. 95th St.), 212-264-5400; 7, $27. Ira Glass’s nasal voice and snorty laugh are annoying on the radio, but in person he’s actually quite charming. Tonight he teams up with Isaiah Sheffer (of Selected Shorts) for a night of irreverent stories that will also feature funnyman Mike Birbiglia and Elna Baker. Birbiglia you might remember from Sleepwalk With Me, his one-man show about somnambulating. Baker has milked her Mormon past successfully in the book The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance.

Bottom Line: Two story-telling legends story it out on stage. Somewhere Andy Borowitz is feeling left out.
