A/V equipment was stolen from a man shooting video in Riverside Park. At 2 AM on Thursday, Aug. 1, a 35-year-old man was shooting video with his camera in Riverside Park and West 82nd Street, on a walkway near the water. He placed several bags about 10 to 15 feet away from where he was shooting. When he finished shooting, he returned to find that one of the bags of equipment was missing. He had not seen anyone walk away with his property. Items stolen included a Nikon 18/2.8 lens valued at $1,199, a Sennheiser EK 100 receiver worth $577, a Sennheiser SK 10 transmitter valued at $467, a Sennheiser shotgun microphone priced at $159, and a Sennheiser directional microphone valued at $56. The stolen equipment totaled $2,644.
