On Sunday, May 12, a 34-year-old woman working in a clothing boutique on Wooster Street reported that two male perpetrators had entered the establishment just after noon and taken merchandise from a table before fleeing northbound on Wooster Street. Video footage of the crime is available. The total value of the merchandise stolen was $6,935, including a Balenciaga women's handbag with silver hardware, valued at $2850; a Balenciaga women's black Mini Papier tote bag, valued at $1,495; a pink Balenciaga tote bag, valued at $1,495; and a black Balenciaga tote bag valued at $1,145.
