Early in the evening of Friday, May 3, a 30-year-old woman was sitting at a table in a bar and grill on Beaver Street when an unknown perpetrator took her wallet out of her bag, which was hanging on the back of her chair. The manager of the establishment said there were no working cameras in the restaurant. The victim told police that her bank had notified her that one of her cards had been used to charge up to $1,500 at a discount department store. The stolen wallet contained a debit card, credit cards, her Connecticut state driver's license, and her student ID.
