Zippers Not Neccessary: Performers Still Naked

In Section: NY comPRESSed » Posted In: Theater, Sex And Relationships Posted By: Joseph Alexiou
- In a disgustingly punny twist of fate, the closure of the Zipper Factory (reported earlier today) won't affect this weekend's performance of Pinchbottom Burlesque’s Murder Most Naked, as it was just picked up by The Bleecker Street Theater at 45 Bleecker. The company is thought to be some of the “best burlesque in New York.”

You can thank Bleecker's horny Managing Partner Calvin Wynter for wanting naked performers in his theater on Saturday night.

"I couldn't just stand by and let talented burlesque performers remain clothed,” he quipped.

You can get your tickets for this Saturday’s (Jan. 17) performance at pinchbottom.com/tickets, but the future of Pinchbottom’s remaining monthly shows, which were supposed to play throughout 2009, has yet to be seen.
