For the past four years, buxom beauty GiGi La Femme has been stripping, teasing, and making waves in the burlesque scene.  Now, she welcomes the beginning of spring at her popular monthly performance Revealed, featuring Peekaboo Pionte, Harvest Moon, Amber Ray, and more, Wednesday, April 15.  Before she takes it all off, GiGi shared a little about what she feels about the show, her burlesque performers, and what she likes to do when not hanging out in her new apartment or professionally taking her clothes off.

What do you think about Revealed?
I love performing in Revealed.  It’s a classy, warm, and intimate show that really puts the performers on a pedestal.  Each act, no matter how simple or complex really seems like a work of art created just for the audience.

What can we expect to see in the coming performances?

Every month is hosted by the hilarious Bastard Keith along with his stage kitten sidekick, Madame Rosebud.  You can expect to see brilliantly, sexy numbers from our core group of performers, which consist of myself, Peekaboo Pointe and Kobayashi Maru, who is a very close friend of Nasty Canasta. We also have 3 guest performers every month and these spots have been filled by the best burlesque performers in NYC.

Who are your favorite burlesque performers?

Some of my favorite performers include Michelle L'amour, Dirty Martini, The Wau Wau Sisters, Julie Atlas Muz, Kitten Deville, Tigger!, Indigo Blue, The Von Foxies, Nasty Canasta, Gravity Plays Favorites, Peekaboo Pointe, Anita Cookie and The World Famous Pontani Sisters. That's just to name a few!

Do you have a favorite person to work with?

I enjoy working with my Wasabassco family the most. The main members of that group are Doc Wasabassco (Kingpin of Burlesque and Producer Extraordinaire!), Anita Cookie, Nasty Canasta and Jonny Porkpie.

What do you like about burlesque?

Of course, it helps a bunch if you naturally like to dance, sing and create art, but I really enjoy the fact that you don't have to be classically trained to perform in the burlesque world.

What do you do in your off time?

You mean if I have any?  I enjoy cooking, traveling and hanging out with my friends. If I can combine all three, I'm a super happy girl!

What's your favorite restaurant? Bar?
Some of my favorite restaurants include Olive's in Union Square and Moutarde in Park Slope. As for bars, it would have to be Union Hall and The Bell House, both in Brooklyn. They have the sweetest staff, good grub and the best happy hours this side of the Gowanus Canal.

Any hints as to this summer’s hot acts?
I've got lots of ideas including a rendition of The Dance of the Seven Veils.  Of course, if it has anything to do with Revealed, you know it will be filled with lots of naked, naked, and naked!
