Ronnie clearly works for the carriage industry and has not enough intelligence to write an actual critical comment, just a name-calling level of rampage. Mr. Moss isn't claiming to be a horse expert, so he enlisted the true experts: equine veterinarians. Is Ronnie really saying that they have no knowledge or expertise? To be ignorant is one thing, but to be ignorant AND lacking completely in compassion for the horses that are clearly abused in the horse-carriage industry is seriously disturbing, since "Ronnie" is, in some way I'm sure, responsible for their treatment and care.

 

Every time I am on the West Side during rush hour, I see horses navigating around cars or stuck in bumper to bumper traffic with carriages attached to their backs. They don't even have their own lane! It's time NYC took horse-drawn carriages out of the street and out of harm's way. It's a total joke that the we have horse buggies in the most congested city center in the whole country.

 

Donny Moss is a complete fraud and knows absolutely positively nothing about horses. This guy is a gutless self-promoter who has zero regard for the welfare of animals (which is why he worked for a pharmaceutical testing lab for years). If he did, he would stop exploiting an industry that takes great pride and care of their horses and would do something about the horse slaughter crisis in America. What a transparent creep. *ps, the Genesis Award is from an animal liberation group...he thinks this is an honor??? Get real.
