Exciting news today in Fort Greene as the community will soon have a new independent bookstore. Greenlight Bookstore is announcing that on June 1 it plans to become the official tenant of 686 Fulton Street (at the corner of South Portland). If construction goes according to plan, the bookstore will be opening sometime in September.
The 2,000-square-foot space will have plenty of room to browse the shelves and will occasionally be hosting author readings and other cultural events. To stay updated on what’s happening at the bookstore visit its blog.
