It was strange enough when a baby was born on the R train on Thursday, but today another baby was born on a B61 bus in Brooklyn. While we don't currently know much about the bus baby, The New York Post reports that the subway birth happened at the Whitehall station as the mother was on her way to the hospital. When the baby started coming out, an MTA train operator assisted the woman until EMS arrived on the scene. The baby is reportedly doing well and the father may name his new daughter after the train operator that helped deliver her. That sure beats Improv Everywhere’s No Pants! Subway Rides. We’re happy that the train baby is in good condition and we are waiting to hear good news about the status of the bus baby.
