With the
way technology is progressing, we’ll all be musicians someday—making music
anywhere we’d like. To prove this, the first iPhone album was recently created
by two Called Phoning It In, the groovy and experimental album was made by two iPhone owners who call themselves Nuclear O’Reilly. Jared DiDomenico and Brad
Naprixas used iPhone app BeatMaker (by Intua Software) to start the project in
June; it only took them one month to write, record, mix, and release.
From mid-June to mid-July, they played around with their iPhones everywhere—at
home, on the subway, on the bus—and eventually produced an album.
