Emma Forrest, a British journalist and chick-lit novelist who wrote books like Cherries in the Snow, is ready to tell all about her former lovers--which wouldn't be a big deal if she hadn't dated some big names. Variety just profiled Forest as one of their "Ten Screenwriters to Watch."According to the mag:
"She wrote 'Liars (A-E)' this spring in just three days following the breakup of her yearlong relationship with actor Colin Farrell. A couple of weeks later, the script was sold to Scott Rudin and Miramax. Richard Linklater is attached to direct, and shooting is slated for fall."
Bad news for Farrell, but also for Paul Sevigny, NYC music impresario and brother of actress Chloe Sevigny. Paul also dated Forrest. Cityfile claims Forrest dumped him because of Paul's obsession with the book American Psycho. Paul's sister starred in the movie adaptation of that book, so that relationship drama is probably ripe for another Forrest screenplay. At least she didn't write a script based on him three days after breaking up. Sheesh.
