On a secret Williamsburg rooftop, three guys are breaking the law. They’re not hiding bodies, drug dealing or even growing pot—they’re making honey. The guys, all of whom are in the restaurant industry but didn’t know much about the practice, are raising bees on their rooftop. The practice is illegal in New York City, but they say they’re utilizing rooftops and helping the environment because bees are going extinct and they help the pollinisation of surrounding plants. And, hey, the honey isn’t bad either. Thanks to Curbed for the video via Free Williamsburg.
