For anyone like me behind on the times and not sharing instant life updates with the world via Twitter, it might be time to jump on the trendy bandwagon, especially when your next tweet could lead to a film deal.
At least that was the case for Arjun Basu from Montreal whose steadfast relationship with his Twitter account has led to more than 1,700 literary tweets and one minute-long movie deal reports Media Bistro. It was this tweet by Basu that inspired Canadian director James Cooper to create and submit this short-short film into Filminute's International One-Minute Film Festival. What started as one little tweet, has turned into a finalist for the festivals People's Choice Award. Tweeters and non-tweeters alike can check out the film and vote throughout the month of September. Winners will be announced on Oct. 8.
