Back in the heady days of June, our own Will Alden loved Beck & Co.'s Record Club, which released a cover of every song on The Velvet Underground and Nico. As far as covers of entire records go, I personally prefer Pussy Galore's version of Exile on Main Street, but what the "Loser" singer was up to wasn't half bad. Now he's at it again.
Today, Rolling Stone announced that the next album the group will tackle is Songs of Leonard Cohen. This time, dudes from MGMT and Wolfmother will join in, along with Devendra Banhart. The first track covered is "Suzanne," and as much as I'd like to hate on a bunch of dudes sitting around being famous and playing covers, it's pretty enjoyable. Check it out below.
