New York Press has learned that iconic new wave band Blondie will play at the Brooklyn Museum at the Oct. 29 opening night reception for the exhibition "Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present." Unfortunately, the night will be members only. But you can join the museum as late as the day of the concert.
Blondie will play the evening of Oct. 29 at the Beax-Arts Court. The exhibition, which opens to the general public the next day, will foreground the role photographers played in shaping rock history. It will run until Jan. 31.
Yearly membership costs $55.
