Zagat published its 2010 restaurant survey today, revealing the coups d’etat, shake ups and surprises that made this year’s list of New York dining experiences.
Most of the big scene action was downtown for the kinds of restaurants we read about but couldn't stomach visiting—Hotel Griffou and the like.
Indeed, for us the biggest news was in Brooklyn, where Dumont was robbed by burger joint at Le Parker Meridian for best burger. We can console ourselves with the news that BK still tops the lists for best rated BBQ (Fette Sau), Pizza (Di Fara), and Steakhouse (Peter Luger's), and hope that maybe the line at Dumont calms down just a bit.
