Morehouse Bans Crossdressing, Braces Self For Most Bland Halloween Ever

Kids these days and their weird outfits! Girls are running around thinking leggings are an acceptable substitute for pants. Guys let their pants hang down so low that everyone has to see their underwear. Guys wear skirts that go way to far above the knees, leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination... Wait a minute!

CNN is reporting that Morehouse, the all-male and historically black college in Georgia, has recently passed a dress code that included bans on “wearing hats in buildings, pajamas in public, do-rags, sagging pants, sunglasses in class and walking barefoot on campus” and, most interestingly, women’s clothing and accessories. Amongst the student body of 2,700 there are about five who are, according to Dr. William Bynum, vice president for Student Services, “… living a gay lifestyle that is leading them to dress a way we do not expect in Morehouse men." The college’s administrators did meet with the campus’ gay organization, Morehouse Safe Space, and after a discussion the new regulations were met with almost universal support from the group.

Will these new rules spark some kind of underground protest? Imagine a student who decides to play ball with the administration by walking around in approved clothes on the outside but fights the power by wearing women’s underwear. How about just a smidge of eyeliner, enough where people have to wonder “Maybe he’s born with it…” Are murses aloud? Jack Bauer had one, and whose more mainly than Jack Bauer? I look forward to the new generation of student activists that Morehouse might be able to produce due to this new dress code.
