So a guy wakes up in the morning, gets out of bed, and maybe brushes his teeth before going downstairs to make himself a cup of coffee. Sounds like a regular, uneventful morning—except for the fact that this guy happens to do his morning routine naked. Whatever, what you do in your own home is your own business, right? Apparently not in Springfield, VA, where the man in question was arrested because someone happened to see him through his window.
Ted Williamson was reported to the police by a concerned citizen who was cutting across his backyard at 5:30 in the morning. The woman, who was probably trespassing, might not have called the fuzz on Mr. Williamson if it wasn’t for the fact that she had her little boy with her. What better way to protect a child then by showing him that there is no such thing as privacy, personal space and that at any moment judgmental eyes might be on you.
The event was covered pretty extensively by Fox News and in this interview Williamson tells the reporter that five or six police officers came into his bedroom to arrest him. I don’t know why they thought it was necessary to bring half a dozen cops to get one naked guy. Its not like they had to search him for weapons or anything.
