Free Man Show at Chelsea Blue

Nothing’s shocking in New York anymore, but a live male erotic massage demonstration is the kind of window display bound to catch someone’s attention. Or at least that’s what the visionaries behind Manworks.com hope will happen tonight when they take over the window space at The Blue Chelsea, transform it into a masseuse station and display their erotic massage techniques on willing volunteers.

Something about the window space of the erotic store just screamed erotic massage to Manworks.com director Daniel Lee, who came up with the idea for tonight’s event.

“I was walking past The Blue on Eighth Avenue one day and realized one of the windows could fit a massage table inside and then thought that I could do my very own 'Dutch window,' like the ladies in Amsterdam with a live massage demonstration,” explained Lee. “And if you’ve ever been to Amsterdam, you are compelled to watch these women, so why not make one just as irresistible for Manworks.com?”

From 6-10 tonight at The Chelsea Blue (located at 206 Eighth Ave., betw. 20th & 21st Sts.) people are invited to do something other than window shop. Rather they’re invited to check out the handy work of masseurs featured on the masseur classified website, which was launched by escort site Rentboy.com. And according to Lee, there might be opportunity to do more than look.

“We already have some willing volunteers who wanted to get a great massage on Friday night after a week-full of work, but we may very well pluck on-lookers from the street who want to taste the skills of the masseurs,” Lee said.

It might be chilly outside, but Lee promises the nights event will be hot enough to keep crowds on the street from noticing. “Our Dutch window will be a sensual, visual feast of beautiful bodies and bodywork in a blaze of red,” he said.
