A walk of shame looking like
a disheveled mess and wearing last night's party clothes normally gets you
all the wrong kind of attention, but not so for Astoria resident Elizabeth
Kuchta. Her “walk of shame” outfit snagged her the honor of Miss G Train
2009.
Kuchta, 27, narrowly beat out first-runner up Shane Thor and seven other finalist in this year’s Miss G Train pageant hosted by the City Reliquary Museum in Williamsburg. Gothamist reports that true to its namesake subway line, the pageant was delayed last Thursday thanks to two no show contestants and a late judge. But fortunately, it wasn’t delayed long enough to require renaming it the Miss Let's Just Walk To The L Train pageant.
