In this audio docudrama (recipient of the National Audio Theatre's "Best Script" award), the character of a country, and its President, are revealed -- as a traumatic war winds down, and eerie events presage Abraham Lincoln's own end... Live on stage with a full cast, live sound effects, and original music composed by Tony-Award winner MARK HOLLMANN, and performed by members of the New York Repertory Orchestra. Quicksilver Radio Theater, founded by actor CRAIG WICHMAN in 1995, is a group of seasoned New York performing artists that has taken the National Federation of Community Broadcasters' "Gold Reel" award, and is nationally syndicated by the Public Radio Exchange. This production is directed by JAY STERN, and the cast includes BERNADETTE FIORELLA, RAMONA FLOYD, JOSEPH FRANCHINI, DEREK LIVELY, JOHN PRAVE, and MICKEY RYAN. He and his very special secret guest will blow your minds! John was recently featured on Vice Magazine's VBS.TV, and his first viral video, The Christmas Tree, was hailed as an instant comedy classic. It was nominated for a broadband Emmy award and was featured on Vh1's Best Week Ever, Comedy Central's Insider and countless blogs and websites. The follow up, Jackie & Debra, won The Comedy Smalls award in London and has a huge cult following. He has over 4 million hits on YouTube and counting. Even with all that, John is just getting warmed up! He formed the band Opti-Grab which went on to play with such acts as Blondie, Gogol Bordello, Scissor Sisters and Tom Tom Club. On July 10th and 11th, Dov Davidoff will bring his scorchingly funny rants to Comix. He´s one of the hottest up and coming comics on the scene today and his most recent album "The Point is%u2026" was one of the top 10 comedy albums on ITunes in 2008. In addition to performing regularly in clubs and at colleges throughout the country, Dov has made numerous appearances on late night talk shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Last Call with Carson Daly. He´s also become somewhat of a regular fixture on Comedy Central having performed his own half hour special as well as Premium Blend, Chappelle´s Show, and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. Dov has also made quite an impression as an actor, co-starring in the NBC drama Raines with Jeff Goldblum and with Mark Wahlberg in the feature film Invincible.
