New Amsterdam Records: UNDISCOVERED ISLANDS

The third installation in a series of headliner musical events from some of the brightest stars in the city's blossoming indie classical community. 8pm: So Percussion 9pm: World Premiere of Sarah Kirkland Snider's Penelope featuring Signal New York "supergroup" Signal, under the direction of acclaimed conductor Brad Lubman and with Rachel Calloway on vocals and Steven Mackey on electric guitar, gives the world premiere of Sarah Kirkland Snider's 50-minute song cycle PENELOPE. So Percussion will open the evening, previewing new pieces by electronic provocateur Dan Deacon, plus original works. PENELOPE was commissioned by the J.
