Cuomo Draws First Blood

| 11 Nov 2014 | 01:19

Though the investigation was likely handled almost entirely during Eliot Spitzer time in the office, State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has claimed his first hide, announcing today the sentencing of a former chief executive of a Horseheads, New York building company, after he plead guilty to stealing $210,000 from a resident of Wisconsin  (no link available just yet).

"This defendant broke the law by deceiving and stealing from his own investors," Cuomo said.  "We will continue to hold businesses and their executives accountable for defrauding investors, and will seek restitution to compensate victims whenever possible."

    Thieves beware.
