Dad Goes To Jail For Murder of His Son

See, I told you your belief in the goodness of man wouldn’t last ’till lunchtime. Yesterday, [A Bronx man convicted of killing his baby by slamming him against a crib was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison]. In 2003, Michael Williams, 25, and his 5-week-old son were living in a homeless facility when the murder took place. Apparently, Williams grabbed the baby by his neck and slammed his head against the crib, resulting in 12 broken ribs and numerous brain injuries. Williams did not appear at his trial. His defense attorney argued that the death was an accident and that Williams loved his child.
