Diabetes Test Strips Stripped from Store

    The morning of March 20, two men broke a plastic product cover sheet in a chain drug store on Amsterdam Avenue and took $1,847.28 worth of the test strips that diabetes patients rely on to measure glucose in whole blood. The theft was caught on store video, and police have been reviewing the footage in an effort to identify the perpetrators.
