GALE BREWER IN COLOR

The day after Council Member Gale Brewer cast her vote against the successful term-limit extension, she spent her afternoon hunkered down in the Manhattan Neighborhood Network, a public access studio. Brewer filmed three episodes of This Side of Central Park, her new public access show. The shows, which will air over the next three months, will feature roundtable discussions with experts and city officials focused on accessing health insurance, services for the hungry and the switch to all-digital TV in Feb. 2009.
