Two handbags were shoplifted from a clothing boutique on Greenwich Street. At 6:10 PM on Monday, August 19, two 25-year-old men took two handbags from a display in the boutique without permission or authorization. Video of the incident is available. Police conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the thieves. The burgled bags were a Proenza Schouler medium bag valued at $1,695 and an Alexander Wang tote worth $995. The total handbag haul: $2,690.
