HOUSING ANNIVERSARY

Last week, Council Member Gale Brewer celebrated the 60th anniversary of the city's housing authority (NYCHA) at the historic Amsterdam Houses, at 205 W. 61st St. Brewer joined authority Chairman Ricardo Morales in hosting the proclamation commemorating the Amsterdam Houses, one of the first public housing developments in Manhattan.
