At 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, a 63-year-old woman from Huntington Bay, NY parked her car on West 66th Street. When she returned at 10:20 p.m., she realized that the ring she had left in the car's console was gone. Fortunately, she had insurance on the seven-carat diamond-and-emerald cut ring, valued at $115,000. Keep nothing in your car more valuable than jumper cables ? and not the solid-gold kind.
