A video game store on Greenwich Street reported an audacious theft to the 1st Precinct on March 4th - though the robbery actually occurred weeks earlier on February 19th. A store employee told police that their corporate security department had instructed the store's management to wait to report the crime to police, in hopes that the theif, caught on grainy security camera footage, might return. According to the employee, on the day morning of the robbery at 9:45 a.m., a black man wearing a black military style cap, a green jacket and tan pants used a magnetic release device to remove a Play Station PS3 from a case and left the store with it. The video game player is worth $1,054 and the suspect is wanted for grand larceny.
