a 70-year-old man was found dead with a stab wound to his neck july 19.
police responded to a call at 7:16 p.m. about a man stabbed in his 175 w. 82nd st. and amsterdam avenue apartment. emt pronounced him doa. police have not released his name, waiting to notify the family.
the man's 33-year-old son was apprehended at the scene with a self-inflicted stab wound to his wrist. he was taken to st. luke's hospital. an investigation is ongoing.
