Math Center Opens Near Union Square

Mathnasium has opened a new location in downtown Manhattan just south of Union Square offering after?school math programs for children in grades K?12. The new location, at 46 East 11th Street between University Place and Broadway, is the third learning center owned by Tammy and Marc Goldberg, who have operated their Upper East Side center since October 2008 and their Upper West Side center since November 2010. The center will provide another opportunity for children in Manhattan to work on critical math skills and make math learning fun, providing each student with a customized learning plan. Mathnasium employs a combination of mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written techniques to help children really understand math and has been developed over more than 40 years of practical experience with thousands of students.
