Mulberry Misdeed

    A man and two women took a women's handbag from a clothing boutique on Mulberry Street. At 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, a 35-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man removed the item from a shelf at the boutique and placed it in the man's bag. An accomplice, a 30-year-old woman, tried to distract store personnel while the other two stole the handbag. The three thieves then headed eastbound on Spring Street. Video footage is available of the incident. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the thieves or the heisted handbag. The item stolen was a flame orange Mulberry women's handbag with a chain handle, valued at $1,110.
