rep. jerrold nadler reintroduced a bill that would create a program in the federal transit administration to retain jobs in public transportation and train new workers in the sector.
the legislation, nadler said in a statement, would target "disconnected youth," 16- to 24-year olds who have dropped out of school and been unemployed for at least six months.
