Asphalt Green
Located at 555 E. 90t St. on York Avenue, this not-for-profit organization has a 50-meter Olympic indoor pool with a variety of memberships;

John Jay Park
Located east of York Avenue on 77th Street, Cherokee Place is a New York Parks City Parks and Recreation outdoor pool; free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a break for pool cleaning between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.; end of June through Labor Day; for aquatics information; www.nyc.gov/parks.
Asher Levy Recreation Center
This New York City Parks and Recreation pool is located on 23rd Street between the FDR Drive and First Avenue, free outdoor pool that opens at the end of June through Labor Day; www.nyc.gov/parks.
Carnegie Park Swim and Health Club
Located at 200 E. 94th St., at Third Avenue, the private indoor pool has four lanes. Cost per month is $75 on a month-to-month basis; 212.423.0300.
Complete Body
Located at 301 E. 57th St. at Second Avenue, is a private, saltwater bubbled pool that becomes an outdoor pool with an outdoor deck for summer. Membership is $499 for June, July and August; 212.777.7703.
Peninsula Spa
The Peninsula Spa in the Peninsula Hotel at 700 Fifth Ave. at 55th Street, includes a pool, fitness center, sun terrace, and yoga studio. Summer membership for the three-month period June, July, and August is $425 per month.
