There’s
nothing worst than an unfunny comic, a piquant mess combining sadness,
anger, failure and little to no humor. Catch a good comic on his game,
though, and you’ll understand what the rumpus is all about.With
hundreds of acts competing for the coveted Emerging Comic award, the
NYUCF takes over seven venues for 10 days of comedy. Some will suck but
some, one hopes, will be seriously funny.
Bottom Line: It’s risky business this, but worth it for some hearty chuckles.
